There's a few questions that are typically on the mind's of our clients when they contact us. I'll try to address some of those common questions here. Feel free to post any remaining questions you have in the comments below; or reach out to us.

Why should I choose PushCapture?

What differentiates PushCapture from photographers or videographers?

We are experts at finding small ways to surprise and delight. In fact, you will find that your experience with us is truly catered to you! We take the time to get to know you and ensure that we are going to be a good fit. It's important to us that we earn your trust. We want you to know that you can rely on us to capture what matters most to you.

Unique to PushCapture is we always work in teams. You will always have TWO photographers and/or videographers covering your event/session. One lead and one assistant. This allows us to maximize coverage and capture basically everything. If you're looking for photo and video coverage, look no further! We make planning and coordinating photo/video for events simple and easy because we plan, organize, and work cohesively as a team.

In truth, there are many skilled photographers and videographers out there. Like them we are experts of our craft; having invested thousands of hours honing our composition style, lighting skills, and editing techniques. Beyond being fairly skilled at photography and films, we also make it a priority to control our lighting because we know how impactful shaping light can be. Knowing how to use light in any situation is actually a huge differentiator for us. You'll find our lighting style is frequently what gives our images and films that "pop" or "wow" factor.

Sianna's eyes

Sianna's eyes wouldn't have popped like they are if we didn't have a large light source on the right lighting them up. Fernando wouldn't have been able to put a ring on his fiancee's finger if we hadn't brought remote controlled spot lights to brighten the scene as he dropped to a knee to propose (seriously, it was pitch black). And Ben and Aleah here would have been baking in the sun if we didn't have two assistants diffusing the sun's brilliant rays. Isn't light awesome? We think so!

What services do you offer?

In addition to providing beautiful wedding photography and films, we also provide engagements, bridals, as well as individual and family portraits. How much do you charge for weddings?

Every couple's needs/priorities is going to be a little different. Scheduling a consultation is free, so please reach out! We would love the opportunity to chat with you and help you choose the coverage options that are going to meet your needs and budget.

On average, our clients can spend anywhere between $1500-$2500 for wedding photography and portraiture, and as much as $3000 for their wedding film. This includes coverage, editing, delivery, and a few personalized 'extras' to make things fun. Making our services accessible is very important to us, and so new for this year we have a budget option that starts at $500, it doesn't include as many photos as other packages, but if you're having a small event or even an elopement, it might be the perfect option for you.

How much do you charge for portraits?

Portrait costs will vary by group size and destination. Individual portraits in studio can run as little as $75. For a complete list, contact us for a price guide.

How do I get my photos and videos?

We deliver our images through an online client gallery that makes it super easy to download your images and share on social media with friends and family.

Will I receive all my images?

We do not deliver every image we capture; simply because not every image we take meets our standard of quality. Often we'll take several test shots, or a string of bursts shots, to make sure we nail the composition we're going for. On average, expect to receive around 50 images for every hour of coverage. Each photo will be color corrected and detailed by a member of our team.

Do you offer prints and photo albums?

Yes! Absolutely. We make ordering prints super simple through our online client galleries. We've partnered with a professional photo printing lab to ensure the best quality and color matching.

Prints are a super important investment choice. After all, if you're going to invest hundreds of dollars in professional photography, why wouldn't you want to invest in having some of those images turned into fine art or a beautiful photo album. How long will my wedding film be?

The length of your film will depend on your selections. We offer a variety of options for capturing speakers, toasts, ceremonies, and receptions; all of which will impact the length of your film. On average our films are around 8-10 minutes. For more information on films, click here.

Will I get to pick the music for my wedding film?

Wedding films are one part beautiful cinematics and one part expertly crafted audio tracks. We do consult with our clients for mood and style, but this a piece where we hope you will trust our creative prowess to produce something truly unique and unexpected.

We also abide by US intellectual property laws and ensure that any music used in our films is appropriately licensed. For this reason, using popular music isn't always possible. If there is a particular meaningful song that you feel strongly needs to be included, let's chat about it. We are happy to explore any options that are legally permissible.

Will I receive all my video footage?

We do not deliver all of the raw video footage for much the same reason as why we don't deliver every photo we snap. Editing involves removing a lot of undesirable footage.

Purchasing all the raw footage is an option, and many of our clients do like to purchase their raw footage for a variety of reasons; but mostly for peace of mind or for future video projects. However, for the best return on your investment, we recommend consulting with us on what you want captured in your film. We strive to deliver a beautiful cinematic films that will capture all the memories and feelings from your special day.

How do we book you and reserve our date?

Contact us for a consultation. If everything is agreeable, we'll provide a link for signing our service contract and collect your deposit. Deposit for weddings are 50% of the total package price, or $300, whichever is more.
